REC & Carbon Credit Trading. Buy clean. Sell earned. One partner.
Trade an unverified credit and a buyer rejects it, an auditor flags your claim, and the clean story you told the board falls apart. You trade instruments that hold up to scrutiny, so what you buy or sell is credible from the first trade.
Book a ConsultationWhat is REC and carbon credit trading?
REC and carbon credit trading is the buying and selling of renewable energy certificates and carbon credits on your behalf. A renewable energy certificate represents a unit of electricity generated from a renewable source. A carbon credit represents a tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent avoided or removed. Trading gives you access to these instruments to back a claim, meet a target or monetise a reduction you have made.
Delta Carbon handles the transaction through Fuel Switch, so you reach the market through a single relationship rather than assembling one yourself.

What you can trade
Buying
On the buy side, that means sourcing RECs to support a renewable-electricity claim, or carbon credits and offsets to meet a voluntary target or apply against carbon tax.
Selling
On the sell side, it means placing the carbon credits your own project has generated with buyers who need them. Delta Carbon sources buyers for your RECs.
Whether you are covering emissions you cannot yet remove or turning a registered reduction into revenue, the trade runs through the same desk.
Why your trade needs more than a broker
Market access on its own is not the hard part. Trusting what you are trading is. A REC or carbon credit is only useful if the instrument is credible, because a buyer or an auditor will test it. Delta Carbon pairs the trade with the advisory that tells you which instruments fit your position and the verification that confirms they are sound.
You get execution and judgement from the same partner, delivered through Fuel Switch, rather than a broker who places the trade and leaves the credibility to you.

How your trade gets done end to end
Trading is the execution end of a chain that starts with advice and, often, with a project. Where you are buying, the Carbon & REC Advisory works out what you need before the instruments are sourced. Where you are selling, the carbon credits creates the credits and verification makes them saleable. The trade itself closes the loop.
One partner across advice, development, verification and the transaction means nothing falls between suppliers.
