Services. Measure, deliver and verify, one accountable partner.
Measure, plan, save, generate, verify and monetise, delivered by one accountable team instead of four suppliers you have to manage.
Book a ConsultationThree steps to a lower electricity account and verified carbon cuts
A Delta Carbon client can take one step or all three. Measure to establish where you stand, plan to set the path forward, then deliver and verify so the result is proven, not promised.
Measure
You establish your carbon footprint and energy baseline to a recognised standard, so every decision after this rests on numbers you can defend.
Plan
You get a costed, sequenced decarbonisation roadmap: which projects, in what order, at what cost, for what saving and reduction.
Deliver and verify
You walk into the board meeting with completed work and independent evidence, not another plan. Delta Carbon builds the projects and verifies the results.
The path through Advisory, Engineering and Verification. Products is a faster route in if you just need equipment or market access, not a project you measure and plan first.
See why single accountability mattersFour suppliers, four versions of the truth.
Advisory sets the strategy, Engineering builds it, Verification proves it, and Products give you a ready-made route in. Fifteen services sit under those four headings, and you can take one of them or the whole lifecycle.
Most organisations arrive holding one urgent problem: a carbon tax liability, a reporting deadline or an electricity account that will not come down. They stay because the same team that recommends the work also delivers the engineering and verifies the final result.
The energy consultant does not talk to the carbon advisor. The EPC contractor does not talk to the verifier. Each is competent inside their own scope, but none of them owns the outcome.
Hands over a static PDF roadmap with no installation accountability.
Calculates numbers in a silo; doesn't interface with site engineering.
Installs hardware without the rigorous baseline needed for tax deductions.
Brought in too late after missing baseline data disqualifies the claim.
One contract. From the first baseline to the verified return.
What you need is one accountable partner who measures the position, builds the fix and proves the result — not four suppliers each holding one piece of it.
- Data continuity: The baseline measured in Advisory is the exact baseline verified for Section 12L.
- Engineered execution: SANEDI-registered ESCo delivery so projects pay from verified savings.
- Audit survival: Defensible numbers built for SARS, your board, and ESG raters.
Three points of failure when suppliers don't coordinate
Footprint measured one way, verified another
A carbon footprint measured on assumptions rather than verifiable protocol will not survive an auditor's challenge when tax filing arrives.
Solar installed without a Section 12L baseline
If baseline measurement wasn't logged before the switch was thrown, you permanently forfeit the SARS tax deduction you earned.
Carbon credits bought without verified provenance
Credits traded on trust that lack registry transparency or regulatory compliance fail the first question from a board risk committee.
Advise, deliver, verify
Every service on this page belongs to one of four groups. Advisory tells you what to do and in what order. Engineering builds the projects that deliver the saving. Verification produces the independent evidence that the saving is real. Products package the whole thing into a ready-made commercial arrangement, so you buy an outcome instead of a project.
Advisory
Set the strategy. Measure the footprint, cost the path, decide what to build and what to trade.
Advisory services→Engineering
Build it. Solar, storage and efficiency work delivered as engineering rather than as a proposal.
Engineering services→Verification
Prove it. Independent measurement and verification that holds up with SARS, auditors, funders and your board.
Verification services→Products
Ready-made solutions. Energy outcomes on a monthly fee, procurement, and market access for certificates and credits.
Products→Advisory
Advisory is the work that happens before anything is built. It establishes what your emissions and energy position actually is, what the regulations require of your organisation specifically, and which projects are worth doing in what order. Four services sit here, and most engagements start with one of them.
Carbon Accounting & GHG Inventory
Measure your footprint across scope 1, 2 and 3, and set up the systems to track it year on year.
Read about Carbon Accounting & GHG Inventory→ESG Strategy & Decarbonisation Roadmaps
A costed, sequenced path to your target: which projects, in what order, at what cost, for what reduction.
Read about ESG Strategy & Decarbonisation Roadmaps→Carbon & REC Advisory
Buy, sell and use carbon credits and RECs with provenance you can defend when it is questioned.
Read about Carbon & REC Advisory→Carbon Credit Projects
Assess, register and develop projects that generate credits, from feasibility through to the registry.
Read about carbon credit projects→Advisory work is often the first stage of a longer engagement, and it stands on its own if a plan is all you need right now.
Engineering
Engineering is where your roadmap becomes plant on site. Delta Carbon is a SANEDI-registered Energy Services Company, which means projects can be funded and delivered under an ESCo model and paid for out of the savings they produce rather than out of capital budget. Two services sit here.

Solar Services
Energy audit, quality assurance, engineering and construction partnering, and ongoing operation and maintenance.
Read about Solar Services→Energy-Efficiency Retrofits
Lighting, HVAC and heat pump upgrades that cut your consumption for the same output.
Read about Energy-Efficiency Retrofits→Engineering work is measured against the baseline established in Advisory, so your saving can be verified later rather than estimated.
Verification
Verification is the evidence layer. Section 12L measurement and verification is delivered under the SANAS accreditation held by EMVS, and Delta Carbon provides greenhouse gas and climate change auditing to the ISO 14064 standard, so the numbers produced here are independent findings rather than a supplier reporting on itself. Four services sit here.
GHG Emissions Verification
Independent assurance of your scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions against a recognised standard.
Read about GHG Emissions Verification→Section 12L Energy Performance M&V
Measure and verify your savings against a baseline, producing the evidence a Section 12L deduction requires.
Read about Section 12L Energy Performance M&V→Bill Verification & Performance Monitoring
Check your utility accounts and track system performance to catch overcharges, faults and underperformance.
Read about Bill Verification & Performance Monitoring→Energy Performance Certificates
Assessment and certification for your buildings that fall under the mandatory EPC regulation.
Read about Energy Performance Certificates→The verification team works to the requirements of its own standards, which is what allows a Delta Carbon project to be signed off by the same organisation that built it without the evidence losing its standing.
Products
Products are packaged commercial arrangements rather than project work. You buy an outcome, a supply route or market access, with the delivery detail handled on our side. Three sit here.
Solar Procurement
Equipment and contractors sourced, quality-checked and procured on your behalf.
Read about Solar Procurement→REC & Carbon Credit Trading
Market access for renewable energy certificates and carbon credits, with chain of custody through Fuel Switch.

Most organisations do not know which service they need, and picking one from a list is the wrong way to decide. A consultation establishes your position first, and the service follows from that.
Tell us what is forcing the issue.
A carbon tax assessment, a reporting deadline, an electricity account, a board commitment or a funder asking for verified numbers.
We establish where you stand.
What your exposure actually is, what applies to your organisation specifically, and what the options cost.
You get a sequenced recommendation.
Which service, in what order, with the reasoning behind it, before any commitment.
If you would rather see this by sector, we set out the position for mining, industrial, real estate and the public sector separately, and if carbon tax is what brought you here, start with the carbon tax page.

A consultation establishes where you stand, what applies to your organisation and what the work would involve, before any commitment. If you are carrying a target you now have to deliver, or a number you are not certain you could defend, that is the right next step.
