Energy-Efficiency Retrofits. Cut your electricity account first.
Upgrade your plant and buildings to deliver the same output on less power. Lower the load before you spend on generating or buying it, and turn the verified saving into a Section 12L tax deduction.

An energy-efficiency retrofit is an upgrade to a building or its equipment that reduces energy use without reducing output. Typical measures include LED lighting, HVAC upgrades, heat pumps, better controls and equipment replacement. The aim is to lower the amount of energy needed to run the site, so demand and cost both fall.
Efficiency is usually the first move in the Save stage of the lifecycle, because it reduces the load before you spend on generating or buying power for it.
Where your savings come from
Lighting
Lighting is often the quickest, swapping high-draw fittings for LED with controls that stop empty spaces being lit.
HVAC
HVAC is usually the largest, since heating and cooling dominate many electricity accounts and respond well to better equipment and control.
Heat pumps
Heat pumps replace resistive or fossil-fuel heating with a far more efficient alternative for water and space heating.
An audit finds which of these apply to you and what each would save, so the spend goes where the payback is.
From audit to saving
The work runs in a straight line. An energy audit identifies the measures and estimates their savings and payback. The retrofit delivers them. Then measurement and verification confirms the saving against a baseline, which is what protects the result and makes it usable.
That final step matters more than it looks, because a verified saving can support a Section 12L tax deduction. Designing the retrofit to be measurable from the start is what makes the claim possible later.

How this gets handled for you
Delta Carbon delivers the engineering and verifies the outcome. We identify the measures, install them, and measure the savings to a standard that stands up to a 12L claim and to your own reporting. Because the same team handles the retrofit and the M&V, the saving is designed to be provable rather than reconstructed afterwards.
Where efficiency alone will not get you there, the retrofit sets up a smaller, cheaper solar system by lowering the load it has to cover.
